Hi!

I'm new user 3cx and need help. I have a rules on outbound and sometimes the number entered in phone is not the same that apear in the call log. The trunk influences that?

Best regards

What is the difference? Is the number shown, the number sent out on the trunk, to the provider, minus any prefixes? Can you post some examples?

Good morning leejor!

Thank for your return!

The rule says, “if 8 digits are dialed than add 5521” but when the person dials for instance, 23651267, the calls apear on the call log without “5521” and the cals fails, but it does not happen for all 8 digits number. The person is dailing correct because i tried by myself. I already did isolated testes and it does not seams to be any rule conflit. Does the voip trunk have any influnce in that? I error from voip trunk can result in this error?

Check you rules, as there are processed from the top down.

Can you screen copy outbound rule settings ?

Bonjour ami!

So...narrow down which numbers work and which don't. Is there a pattern? Could there be another rule that is matching digits rather than number length? Check the 3CX Activity Log, right after a failed call to see if there was a match to another rule, or the number dialled matched no rules. As mentioned earlier, rules are read from top to bottom, so if the rule you wish to use is lower than one where a match is made, calls will not use the rule. If the 8 digit numbers are local, and begin with only certain digits (all numbers with with 23, for example, then the rule could be made more specific.I assume there is no outside access digit (9) being used.
