At a large client facility, I have set up a SNOM PA1 connected to a self amplified Bogen SAH30. It's a huge manufacturing plant and the SAH30 is loud to cover the area and can be heard over the loud production machines.
Unfortunately, the plant foreman has a phone near the center of plant, about 50ft from the speaker. When he calls the page extension, it does pick up and...you guessed it, screaming loud feedback. With near realtime paging, this is unavoidable, but to the plant foreman, unacceptable. If there is a fire in the area, he needs the ability to warn others close by.
I remember another client whose phones I dont manage (a cisco system) had a 5-6 second delay when paging overhead. This would be a perfect solution for the above plant facility. Page sent, a specified delay is set, while waiting for the page, caller hangs up,and page delivered feedback free.

Anything like this built into 3CX?

Can you send your snom config? Also, check the amplifier and ground settings for PA system. I had to have an electrician come in to fix ours. Ours was doing something very similar. The electrician came in spent some time testing feeds, etc. and was able to get it working.

Uploaded the config for you. A few company name things redacted, but it's all there. I don't believe the SNOM has any built in functions for feedback elimination, but I might be wrong.

I was just hoping there was a buffering feature/time delay built into 3cx hidden somewhere in the menus
