Paging is slow.

According to my client "Paging takes forever to open before you can speak" when paging to multiple fanvil pa2 paging devices + phones. But paging to one specific page works perfectly.


Any idea what can cause a page to multiple pa2 fanvils to "Take forever to open before you can speak?"

Sounds like I need to learn how to setup paging multcast which I've never done before.

Hi,

Paging may be delayed if a device is slow to respond or if an extension has a phone that doesn’t support auto-answer, since 3CX waits before playing audio.

Multi-cast is the only way to go especially if you have a lot of devices to call.
