Solved paging & Panel view not working after upgrade to version 20

i updated this system to Version 20 last night. i have two issues.
1) *9 + extension for intercom (paging) users is not working like it was prior to upgrade. It's just ringing the extension
2) user says that the only active call they can see in the Panel is their active call.

Hi @rbergthold

Regarding the dial code navigate to System >> Dial Codes >> Change the dial code to *8, and try again.
Regarding the active calls in the panel change the extension to receptionist and check again.

In the latest V20 Update 1 Beta, you will also be able to see active calls, as you used to in V18

both of those tweaks fixed that. I do have another question. it looks like Office Hours time Zone has changed to GLOBAL on each system I've updated. I've gone through and changed back to -7:00 United States - Mountain Time. I've also noticed that On the users IP phone provisioning tab, that it switched to global as well. This customer Also reported that their calls did not roll to after hours at 5pm like normal. thoughts?

When you update to version 20, you must reset the office hours on the department level. this is to be expected.

When updating from v18 to v20 the office hours do not carry over, because on V20 you configure the office hours per department instead of globally, meaning you need to re-configure them after updating.

The same goes for the timezone, as you can set different time zones for each department for the reason that you may have agents that work remotely and are in different countries.

i noticed that on the Ring Group, the "When office is closed route to..." was set to "accept anyway (ignore office hours)." i changed that. i don't know if you guys have a lab system that you can set up on v18 then push to v20 to see if you have the same result. it's kind of weird, lol.... as are all changes & learning curves, right, lol!
