PATTON SN4114/JO/EUI CALL VOLUME LOW

Hi,

On the internal LAN the call volume is fine from phone to phone but when an outside call comes in (PSTN line) the person at the other end say they can hardly hear us. The same if we dial out the complaint is that they can hardly hear us. This one has me stumped. I've tried with 2 handsets the Grandstream GXP2000 and the SNOM 300 with the same problem on both.

I'm in the UK with 2 BT PSTN phone lines.

There has got to be a setting in your SN4114 that controls the Rx and Tx gain. I'm not familiar with this device but I'm willing to bet this setting is the problem.

Hi,

With the Patton 4112/4 you can adjust the gain in the PSTN profile from -31 to 31 dB. These are individually adjustable for input and output.
