In a few months, my company will begin transitioning to 3CX. I was in the process of researching a hardware solution for displaying the windows 3CX client. I needed a working instance to demo the solution. I created a trial account and rolled out a PBX instance on Google. I must admit, this proces was incredibly smooth. Kudos 3CX. Now the only thing I can't seem to find is, how do I end this trial version? I no longer need access and everything was registered on behalf of me personally (not affiliated with the company). I'd hate to be invoiced in the future for something that I no longer need. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You need to login to your Customer Portal using the credentials sent to you by email. Then under Keys, you must Release FQDN for the licence you used.

Then, you MAY need to contact 3CX to ask for instance deletion, but if I remember correctly, it will delete itself if hosted on tHe 3CX's Google Cloud. If hosted in your own account, you will need to delete de instance yourself.

Thank you Frederick. I did release the FQDN, but I could still login on the provided url, so I guess I just wait a bit and revisit things later.

Yes. Releasing the FQDN will take a few hours. Once deleted, the webconsole will no longer work and the instance should be destroyed.

If you need assistance in setting up the production server, don't hesitate to ask! I also am 3CX Partner.

Free google instances are deleted after the trial period expires or because they are inactive for a time period. We can also manually delete an instance if required. There is no need to release the FQDN from the licence key especially if you want to keep the bound together to use them in a different installation.
Releasing the FQDN will not cause the instance to be deleted.

@jvanhoef
If you need your free hosted instance deleted please send me a p.m. so we can proceed with the deletion of the instance. Free instances are not renewable so even if you wait for the expiration of the trial period you will not be invoiced.
