Hi all,

is it possible to show the users personal phonebook instead of global "3cx pbook" softkey?
or access both phonebooks form the hardwarephone?

Any idea appreciated :)

Thank you all!

To accomplish this easily you will need to either...
1) Custom template, reprogram softkeys
2) Remove the provisioning URL from the phone and manually configure it (although I think softkeys can only be changed via template, but you could download, edit, upload an xml file likely..

I'm assuming you mean the phonebook stored locally on the phone.

Hi,

We only support showing the company phonebook on deskphones, it's a file that the desphone downloads off of your PBX server.

We do not publish the personal phonebook anywhere as a file for the deskphone to download so I would say that this is not doable.

The personal contacts of an extension can only be read by the 3CX soft clients so there's no XML to export.

What you can do however, is build an independent list of contacts and import it in both your extension and your deskphone. You are effectively managing the contacts manually now but it achieves your end goal of having your personal contacts on both 3CX and the deskphone.
