Hi Everyone.

I am dealing with an issue again after already resolving it once before. Our conference calls are ending after 3 hours exactly. I found this was due to the default parameters setting, which i adjusted about 6 months ago. Then our calls started ending after 4 hours, which after some diagnostic and research was a limit set on my SIP trunk provider end. A quick call with them set our calls to 5 hour limits, which worked great for our at times long meetings.

Today's meeting cut out after 3 exact hours. The parameters are still set for 4 hours. So i am not sure if 3CX is using a default value or perhaps if something changed on my SIP trunk end. I suspect that maybe 3CX is using a default value. But shouldnt it be using the value that i manually entered in in the parameters section?

I'm not sure where to look first on this issue.

Thanks for your help.

The only way to be sure its to start a call and then at 2h59m turn on wireshark to see where the bye is coming from.

Or you can look at the activity log of the PBX and find the call that ended. You should be able to see who ended the call.
