Phone calls in meetings

I did a search and came up empty however I may not be searching for the right terminology. I am looking for a replacement for skype. I get the sense that 3CX has the functionality I am looking for but I can not figure it out. In a nutshell, we are looking to put our team together (which I have done), and set up a meeting so we have our chat window.....and then be able to place VOIP calls using the dial pad and add them to our meeting so that our team members can hear and participate on the call. I have my VOIP number and my SIP trunk configured. I can place calls but I can not merge the call into our meeting so that the others can listen and interact with the phone caller. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello,

Once you are in a call you create a Conference call, or you can use the Meet option in the main windows to set-up a more fully feature online video/voice/chat conference.

We are already in a meeting. We wish to pull up the dial pad place a call and all be able to hear/interact with the call placed?

You are in a web meeting and you want to join participants via normal phone call? Just to make sure the forum has the correct scenario so proper suggestions can be made.

That is correct. Wish to be able to place a call in a web meeting that all users in that meeting can hear and interact with.

Web meetings expect callers to call in. For a scheduled web meeting a meeting ID is created and the DID assigned in System->Conferencing can be used for that inbound call.

It is still possible to call the internal conference number, log-in and then transfer that call to any external number. This can be repeated as needed.

That doesn't work for our application. That also seems to be the one feature Skype had that no one else offers. The ability to make an interactive call in a group meeting.

We tried it in the conference call setting as well. The issue there is when we are all on a call and a call is placed and we hit the conference button there it does not merge into our conference it starts a new one. (There is also no chat window on the conference call)
