We have a 3CX phone system configured as a DR solution, to see how it works before swapping over. It's been fine, but we hit a bit of a problem last week - the Grandstream GPX1625 handsets all suddenly disabled their PC ports. Nobody had made any config changes, so it has been a bit of a mystery.
If I remove all of the 3CX information from a handset's config and restart, the port is enabled as is default.
I have done the above with a couple of phones before adding them back onto the system, and the port has stayed enabled on one.
If I change the port to enabled in the config, save, and reboot - it goes back to disabled.
The phone config in 3cx:
<!--
PC Port Mode. 0 - Enable, 1 - Disabled, 2 - Mirrored. Default is 0
--><!-- Number: 0, 1, 2 -->
<!-- Mandatory -->
<P1348>1</P1348>
We've never changed any template or config settings. Assuming we never find out why this suddenly changed; could anyone suggest a method of changing this setting for all of our handsets?
