Phone for Windows

Hi,

I was curious if we could get clarification around what this actually means. Is this the softphone application or is it anything connecting to the system that's NOT a desk phone? Reason I ask, is that we have desk phones AND some users with both. I want to remove/delete/disable their "Phone for Windows" (whatever that actually is) and just retain the desk phone.

This doesn't seem clear anywhere that I've looked, so some clarification and a "how" and "where" to remove/delete/disable would be helpful.

If someone has installed either the old or new application they can just uninstall it.

It can be convenient to have even with a desk phone, to look at settings, voicemail, etc. though they can also log in to the web client.
