Phone logo in V15.5 sp6 (option only in enterprise version)

Hi,

i just installed sp6 for V15.5.
There is a new option in the extension phone provisioning tab that allows you to define your own logo to display on the phone. I see that this option is only available in the 'enterprise' version.
I ask me WHY.

In previous versions this option didn't exists. You can simply override this option by modifying the phone template. I do this already for years for grandstream phones that we use.

So why is this option only available in the 'enterprise' version if it is so simple to override ?

I second this. It seems like a very petty option to only include in the Enterprise license. My customers have zero use of t'4-5 features' that the enterprise offers over the professional version. Why would you limit this option to such a level. I would think this option would be available on Standard as well as Professional. Seems a little petty....

The 3CX phone logo flashes every 15 seconds or so on my Yealink T26 phones since updating to v15.5 SP6. It's very annoying. I see this error in the logs

So nothing is stopping you from overriding the logo as you had previously done. If you want the GUI method (and 3CX supported), pony up the cash. It's not like 3CX is the most expensive PBX in the market. As far as the why, I assume 3CX likes money and it may tip the sales towards more ENT licenses.

I've discovered I can control the Logo's directly on the phones (I connect to the phone through it's GUI). If you have a small number of phone, it's not a big deal, but I could see this being an issue if you have several dozen phones or more.

Agree, we finally get an easy way to specify the logo and 3CX restrict it to Enterprise, all our customers have professional licenses, surely they could restrict it Professional and Enterprise ?
