Solved Phone Logos

Hello,

I have both Fanvil 5S and 5U phones. Neither will show the custom logo on the screen. I have tried using all sorts of variations to make it work. I've followed the specs posted here as well:

Am I missing something?

Do you have an enterprise license? What version of 3CX?

Yes. We have an enterprise license and our 3CX version is 18.0 Update 3. Its 3CX hosted.

Can you ensure that the logo is (as per: https://www.3cx.com/docs/ip-phone-background-logo/) :

Format - BMP (.bmp)
Logo size - 480*320 pixels
Resolution & Color - 16bit / RGB565
File size - <=300KB

Is the phone in red when you go to the phones tab?

No. Looks normal.

Factory reset a phone and test again.

Hi. So I went through the process. I still cannot get my logo to show but for some reason now the 3CX logo shows. It didn't before.

Also... when logging directly into the phone there is no option to upload/update the phone screen image.

Sounds like the phones are having problems with provisioning.

Since you don't mention your firmware version, make sure you install whatever is on this page specifically:
https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/

Then factory reset then phone, and reprovision it.

How exactly are you provisioning them by the way, can you share details?

I was able to work it out. there was something wrong with the image and it seems fanvil phones are super picky about the images.
