PIN Number

What is the PIN number under the voice mail field. Is the a number used to dial voicemail for checking purposes or what?

The pin number is used to secure the voice mail box. If the user wants to dial into to retrieve his voice mail then this pin number must be entered.

I would like to listen to voicemail messages without having to enter my extension number and pin number.
Is that possible, or is that going to be possible?
I'm using 3CX private, for home use. Security, from the inside, is not an issue to me.
What I'm thinking about is: when a user calls his/her own extension number, the voicemail messages are played (option for enable/disable). When calling 999 an extension number and pin number is required.
