We are gold partner of Mobotix, the german camera manuafacturer. Our clients would like to see the video stream from these camera's on their 3CX Smartphone app (iOS/Android). When we use a Bria softphone to test it works in combination with the 3CX PBX, but we would love to use the 3CX app instead of Bria.

Mobotix support says:
The SIP phone needs to fulfill the following requirements:
• Protocol: SIP v2.0 or higher
• Audio Codec: G.711 (alaw/ulaw) and/or G.722
• Video Codecs (optional): H.264 and/or H.263+

3CX currently supports:
• 3CX Webclient support: H.264, VP8, VP9
• Mobile clients support: VP8, VP9
• Windows client support: VP8, H.263, H263-1998

Please add H264 or H263+ to the mobile clients.

This is not possible as all clients would be subject to royalties which you as a customer have to pay per endpoint - if you use it or not. The charge would also be high. Given the big move to AV1 in the market, I strongly suggest hardware vendors to opt for this open standard codec over H264.

As a clarification, the 3CX Webclient does not support it, chrome does!
