Please help configuring VoIP Client for Out of office use

I recently installed the 3cx system in my residence. I will be traveling this week to china and I am trying to take a laptop with me with the 3cX Client to make calls home. However I have not been able to connect successfully yet. This is all new to me so I am sure I am missing something easy. I did configure my router to allow ports 9000-9015, 5060, and 5090. On the client software, in connections i listed my public IP as my 3cx phone system IP, and my extension and pin for the client. When I try to connect it hangs up on discovering network for a bit, then I get a "STUN server error"

Any help is appreciated.

Consider using the VOIP Client with the tunnel. A guide can be found here:
