With the help of a 3CX partner we're doing some POC testing on the 3CX w/ Hotel Module, but they've not been able to help answer the below two issues.

We're using the MITEL SX2000 and are getting CHECK-IN and CHECKOUT message and have gotten the MWI lights to work so far. We are not receiving Housekeeping/MAID status updates though. I saw in a earlier post that someone was having the same issue with Opera, but the thread kept referencing what phone was the housekeeping statuses being entered from, but would the PMS records not originate from the server vs the idividual room phone? We're using Cetis E103-IP hotel phones for the POC testing.

Also, is there a way to update the phone so if a guestroom is VACANT (Checked Out) that the call if not answered rolls to the operator instead of going to VM? If the room is vacant we wouldn't want the VM to be active.

Forgive me advance I'm new to 3CX and have tried searching the forum for similar posts. Only found one about a similar issue in Opera, but they didn't mention if they were using the MITEL interface.

Hello, so far you've connected fine to your Mitel.
Also you need to add all your users as hotel rooms in Integrations > Hotel Services > Hotel room extension department (just add all the departments that are part of hotel rooms and click Save).
Create Wakeup IVR as described here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-dial-codes/#h.3563xera2eph
Then go to System > Dial Codes and check the Maid code (*88* by default).
Dial *88*1 from a room to set it to Clean for example.

As to the second question, it is not possible.

Thank you for the responses. We've followed all those guides including creating the WAKUP IVR which brought us to thus point. We're still testing and looking at logs.

You haven't specified how exactly the maid codes fail. Are you able to dial them at least or getting some error?

Thank you for the responses. We've resolved this. Our current PBX also emulates the Mitel, but uses different status codes. We just needed to go in and redefine the original codes.

We are still looking into how to deactivate the voicemail when the rooms vacant though.
