I have a new install of 3CX at version 18 and when trying to integrate with Resort Data Processing PMS system via the mitel emulation, the connection is established but soon after gets dropped. I have tried different ports to see if it would make a difference but no joy. out of curiosity the PMS vendor tried Fidelio and it connected immediately and remained that way. Unfortunately RDP doesn't use Fidelio for pbx integration so we are stuck trying to get the Mitel to work.
Any ideas on what else to try? One of the things the PMS integrator told me was to ensure I can establish a telnet connection to 3CX via the PMS listen port and if that connection stays, it is a good sign that the integration will work on the next attempt.

The telnet attempt is indeed a good test to run.

Is the PBX located in the same LAN as the PMS system and Mitel emulator?

Yes i have all three devices on the same subnet so no firewalls are involved. I also ran captures on the interface and can see the traffic coming from the interface machine and attempting the correct port configured.

Just an update that I got the integration working. Seems I missed a firewall that was on the network blocking my configured port.
Now the project is call accounting so hopefully this RDP PMS can handle TCP messages otherwise I will be chasing some kind of serial adapter to try and get things working.
