Polycom VVX phones - Phonebook refresh interval

Hello,
Does anyone know what the interval for phonebook refreshes are on a Polycom VVX 400 series is?

The PBX generates the <mac>-directory.xml file and it's correct, but the phone itself shows incorrect/old information until it's rebooted. I.e a extension gets renamed, the old name shows still. I'm looking to understand how often it's updated and if that interval is tweakable (even if it needs a custom template).

Hi,

Polycom phones provision upon reboot, or when you send a reprovision command (which also leads to a reboot).

This is also one of the reasons they cannot be used as hot desking phones.

There is no automatic interval of reprovisioning on those phones.

Is the phonebook only downloaded during provisioning then?

Fanvil and Yealink don't have this limit, correct?

That's correct with an exception though: Fanvil currently has a small issue with large contact lists. If they are above 1000 contacts the phone will stop auto-refreshing the phonebook daily.

They are aware of this and will fix it in a later firmware upgrade.
