Hello, hope someone can help with my issue.

Setup:
1 self hosted 3cx standard instance version 16.0.655
1 remote (at home) polycom vvx410 running version 5.9.6.2327
1 remote router/firewall with forwarded ports 5065 and 14000-14048

I've got the phone to provision using the provisioning link - good
I can call out - good
I can't accept incoming calls - bad.

I assume this something firewall related, can anyone help.
I don't have the ability to run an SBC at home.
I've used the 3cx template for a vvx411 and edited the "Local RTP Audio Ports Start" and "Local RTP Audio Ports End" to match the polycoms "(Port Range Start + 47) for voice-only phones"

Give your phone a static IP address and then on your firewall port forward (1:1 NAT) your local SIP Port and RTP Ports that you defined under the extension settings

You said...

I have to assume that means that the device does not even ring, not just a "no audio" issue, correct?

Check the 3CX Activity log to see how the device is registering (Public IP and port?). If 3CX, using that information , is attempting to reach the device using the local IP and port, then it is not going to work (obviously). That may indicate a STUN setting misconfiguration.

So you have the ability to self host, the ability to configure a firewall, but not the ability to run a SBC? If you don't have the ability to do things outside the box, then don't. Use a phone that supports your environment, or build a supported environment:

https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/polycom-vvx-eol/

This would involve downgrading the firmware and using a SBC. or getting a 3CX supported phone that supports STUN. There's several very inexpensive models out there that are pretty much plug and play with RPS.

issue got solved!

Did you make a change, that fixed this, or did it resolve itself?
