Hi, we are setting up a new hosted 3CX server using UKFast as the host site.
They use Cisco routers/firewalls and they are struggling to implement Port Preservation on out bound traffic, ports get translated to a random port number.
They jury rigged it by creating a rule for the random port to get it through the Firewall Test which worked but its come back to bite us on the ass as when we added the SIP trunks the firewall translated the outgoing traffic on 9xxx to a random port and the call dropped after 32s with no speech.
Its frustrating as we have only basic access to the Cisco and we are relying on the UKFast support to configure it.
Is there any pointers or help I can point the UKFast guys to?
