Solved Portable Phone in 3CX

Greetings,
I am currently using a Yealink W60B for my portable phone. It has failed and I need to replace it. Does anyone have a great portable phone that will be easy to setup and use on 3CX?

Do you want 3CX supported, or are you comfortable with manually programming? Wifi, or DECT?

If you are already familiar with the Yealink, and were happy with it, then you might what to simply replace the base, if that is what has failed.

What is the latest firmware for the Yealink W60B. I am using "77.83.0.20". The Yealink site shows' the latest version as "77.83.0.85.rom". Is it safe to load the firmware from Yealink?

The w60b is the base. The phones are w52h w53h and w56h. The w52h is the oldest model that uses chargeable nicad batteries. The newer ones use lithium ion batteries.

The problem I have is that the W60b will register just fine in the account. When I pair the w53h phone the registration fails. I am stumped as to how to fix this issue. Any ideas?

Are you talking about SIP registration (base to 3CX) or handset registration (handset to base). If the latter then you'll want to talk to Yealink about that as it has no bearing on 3CX.

It would appear that you should be using the latest available firmware from Yealink.

I have no idea as to why this phone would not register. I totally reset the base station and phone. I them booted and reinstalled the firmware. I then re-provisioned the base and the phone. Still no good. I left it on and after a few hours it just suddenly registered and worked. So far so good, it is still working after all night.

Well, it is still working good. I backed up everything to save everything so I can reload if it fails again.
