Someone wants to have a desk phone with BLF/DSS for convenience, but then be able to pick up the handset and walk around a warehouse. It seems to me that this would have to be two phones: first, a full functioned desk set & then also a DECT portable. Or it could be a phone and a smartphone app.

So I'm asking two things really.
1. Is there one phone that can do the above?
2. Pitfalls and/or recommendations for wireless handset on 3CX.

I have some experience with a Yealink W56H and I can't imagine anyone being happy with that as their permanent phone.

Any input appreciated.

If it is a large warehouse, one that may not be covered with a single DECT base, then the 3CX App, on a smartphone, provisioned as the same extension, as the desk set, is probably the way forward.
You would have to transfer the call to the portable handset, if first answered on the desk phone, in either case.
