I have set up a Digital Receptionist for one of our entities. I have set up 0 to direct to a voice mail box where callers can leave a voice mail.
Some callers are impatient and as soon as the recording starts they press 0. This directs them back to our main company receptionist.
This is not the case once the recording is finished, it performs as set up.
Is this the intended result when someone presses a 0 before the message is completed.
The entity does not want this. They would much prefer to have the prompt start over or go to the voice mail box it is intended for.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have a direct sip number programmed into the receptionist extension... and since you cal dial extensions from the greeting - this may be occurring.

as above, what happens if you dial 0 from a phone - does it goes to the receptionist phone

It goes to the main receptionist.

So that is the issue.
Either do not use 0 in the Digital Receptionist, or remove the 0 from the Direct SIP Call in the Receptionist Extension profile.
