We have a support case open, but have LOTS of customers reporting issues with RTP streams, audio problems after being put on hold, DTMF, etc. 3CX Support has been working with our internal resources to collect logs, but it's widespread. Our systems had a red update icon in the top right, so we updated them. Support is telling us it's a beta version. Seems odd that it would alert us to update if it were a beta. Nonetheless, I would caution everyone against updating the SBC's to the new version at this time. It's been HELL dealing with this alongside the DDoS issue with Telnyx. It'll be a miracle if we don't lose any customers when it's all said and done.

If anyone reading this needs to downgrade to the last version it is just 2 codes when you SSH into the SBC

service 3cx* stop
apt install --only-upgrade 3cxsbc=18.0.30

Thanks for the heads update. If using a 3CX hosted system and local SBC, what is the typical method of updating the SBC, through terminal to the device or from the 3CX console webpage?

It's not a 3CX Hosted system. We host our own systems. Our updates are strictly pushed through the 3CX Management console only. No updates flow through the terminal, unless requested by support. 3CX Support did recommend we update the Server to 18 V2 Beta, but we decided to just roll back to SBC v18.0.30. All is working properly again.

Hi @bcarrico ,

Internally we are currently testing a new version of the SBC that should solve the issues you were facing.
I know you said that downgrading to 18.0.30 fixed your problems.

I'll send you a PM shortly.

Seems odd that it would alert us to update if it were a beta
That's come up before here, including from me. If you click the Update button it says it is a beta in the popup/confirmation:

"A new SBC Update is available!
Your SBC will be updated to Version 18.1.32 (beta)
Release notes More information here."

It seems "safer" to have people who want to participate, have to actively look for betas or opt in to beta releases. The desktop app and full server betas are not prompted via red icon like that and are listed on the updates page as betas, so the difference in behavior is easily confusing.
