We are having problems in our office with answering calls when connected to wifi. We are all using the latest beta app and 3CX is updated. It is a self hosted debian install. When connected to WiFi at our own homes we have no issue. Using 4G we have no issues except for more lag. The firewall checker is all green. It seems like it's a double NAT issue where the app is not resolving to the local IP address and is trying you use the FQDN. I'm not sure how that is fixed though.

Hi,

It's a good sign that the other scenarios work and its just the local office WiFi

This Wifi needs to be on the same network as the PBX, not isolated and they should be able to talk to each other. If this is not possible, the phone will attempt via FQDN but will very likely be stopped by the firewall for hairpin traffic.

So to solve this, you will have to look into things like:

1. interconnectivity between office WiFi and the PBX
2. DNS entry to resolve the FQDN to the local PBX IP (if it is reachable in step 1.)
3. Seeing if hairpinning or NAT loopback is allowed (as a last resort)
