When I call someone from my soft client an the phone rings for quite a wile I try to hang up but I'm not getting disconnected at that time. The status is still orange indicating that my extension is in use even if I exit the client and then start it again. While it happens I can make another call and then sometimes I'm ending up with two of them connected which is really annoying. How can this be fixed?

Can you tell us some more about your setup? Network/Hardware/OS

Try going to the Extensions in the PBX.
Extensions > Extension XXX > Other >

Disable Supports Re-Invites and Disable the other Ticked Option.
Now Enable the PBX Delivers Audio Tick Box. This should be the only Ticked box.

Save settings and try making a call.

Thanks LeonidasG but this is exactly how my extension is set up.
As to my OS it's XPpro but I doubt it's of any help. I use soft client v. 7.0.4526.0 which is not the most recent one but it new enough to have this kind of problems sorted so again don't think this is where the problem lies.

Are you talking about Version 7.0 of the PBX?
If so, i'd reccomend you try Version 7.1 or Version 8 which are currently available to download through these links.
We made some fixes regarding to some issues with Phone Calls not Hanging up in many cases.

8.0 Will have these problems Resolved, but i cant be sure if 7.1 has these problems resolved.

Any one knows at least how to force a hang up?

The only known way is to go in the PBX select the connected Extension and press Disconnect.

Hi,

Could you please provide the logs which are describing the problematic call (better in verbose mode)?

Thanks in advance
