I am having an odd issue with the Yealink telephones (local network), I can call the telephone and it rings and connects. But, If I attempt to call out from the Yealink device (both extension or external telehone number), it doesn't make a connection and then the telephone is unregistered from the 3CX system. All my soft phones are working correctly.

Was it working previously or it never does?
is your T41S up to date for FW and template?
Do you use 3CX supported FW and templates?
Is your T41S the only deskphone you have or all are affected with same problem?
In 3CX logs do you have messages related to register status for this extension or other things interesting to know ?

I have two of the Yealink T41S telephones and they are both doing the same thing.
The Telephone does have the current 3CX supported firmware for the telephone.

From the logs I am seeing:
When I attempt to called out from the Yealink, I receive the following error, then the phone unregistered.
408 Request Timeout/INVITE from local

In the event view I receive:
Extension 3149 is unregistered, removed

As for the pass, I can't remember if I did a call out on the telephone when I set the first telephone up.. I know I called into it and it worked fine.. as it does now.

Do you use VLAN ?
Do you have the phones plugged on same switch ?
Are they POE or with external supply?

did you try a factory reset on phones and re-provision after ?
you can also try to create a new extension and assign to T41S and try if it's working fine

408 sip error is related to user not found in time

Great questions... (I like the idea of a reset and new extension) -- But, I did try resetting the telephone and re-prevision the telephone using the same extension.

Yes, we do use a VLAN for the telephone system and the VoIP devices, I can connect to the telephone as I can make a call into the device and yes its using POE

The error '408 Request Timeout' indicates that the client is not receiving any response from the server to which you are trying to connect. This can happen if your request does not reach them, or if they do not respond to you/their response does not reach you.

One cause for this error may be incorrect server information (domain, server address) entered in your SIP account. Double check this information and try to connect again. You can also try adjusting your topology settings, as these may prevent the response from a server from reaching you.

Try it that's the best way to know.
Is your POE switch powerfull enough? do you have external supply for test ?
is your 3CX server reachable from phone connections?

You didn't answer me if it was a previously working fine installation or not?
Why do you use a V15.5 ? is it a STD License?
I'm going to sleep 1:18 am for me

In addition to the above suggestions, also check your IP blacklist in case something got blacklisted.

Wouldn't a SIP account error also effect the thin PC client or mobile devices on the same wireless network?

I tried an External power supply on the telephone - No Difference

Should I run wireshark on the 3CX server? If so, what packets should I be seeing go back and forth for the telephone?

I did answer the previous use.. I know I had called into the telephone. But, can't remember if I had tested a call out. We are just bring the 3CX system into production.

We are running the enterprise version
