Program a phone to listen on a multi-cast address

When using a hosted system, V18 or V20, how do you program a phone to listen on a multi-cast address for a page?

We can manually set it on the phone but it is overwritten when ever the phone reboots.

We want to page a lot of phone and use a Snom PA1 to translate the unicast page to multicast.

When using a hosted system, V18 or V20, how do you program a phone to listen on a multi-cast address for a page?

So when using hosted systems, your paging can only be for the group and not multicast.

Understand the page can't be done through the 3CX, but we like the 3CX to allow us to:

• Program a Multicast Page Originate button
• Add the Multicast Page Listen programming
• The paging is peer to peer, the 3CX is not involved at all.

When we do the programing directly on the phones it works great, it just gets erased the next time the phone is provisioned.

Is there anyway to allow us to make the programming changes without it being lost at the next provision?
