Solved Public IP of Hosted 3CX

Hello, first of all thank you for this service it is awesome and works flawlessly. My question is, is the Public IP shown in the configuration tab a Static IP or a Dynamic IP? Our SIP trunk provider will only provide a SIP trunk to us if the Public IP of the hosted 3CX is a static IP due to whitelisting so this information is critical.

@GPC-ICT ip address is static but it is highly recommended to use one of our Supported Providers which are Registration based for avoiding any issues if the machine needs to be re-allocated and ip address of the machine changes :

• IP-based: If you are using a SIP trunk provider which uses IP peering, this should be changed to a provider that operates with registration-based services. IP-based trunks are too static and inflexible to be managed by 3CX, if we need to relocate your service down the line.

3cx clients and deskphones behind SBC rely on the FQDN so you do not have to worry about these.
