PWA or web client transferring issue

Hi All,

Has anyone come across an issue with transferring calls on the webclient or PWA app.

I have 2 users on a system of 12 users all using the PWA, but two of them when alt transferring a call, when the other end answers the options to join or any other option stay greyed out and they can't transfer the call. We have tried it in Chrome and Edge, PWA and direct web. I tried it a few times on their machine and it did work for me.

The system is in Azure on version 18 update 7 build 312. they are all working in the same office and on the same broadband.

Hello,

If you want to perform an attended transfer, click the Att. Transfer button then call then next party.
As soon as they answer, you will see a Join button appear, which you can click to complete the transfer.
The join button only appears if the other person answers.


However, if you were using the New Call button to call the next party, you will not be able to transfer them to the first.
Make that point clear to the users, just so they are aware.

And to get a bit technical, if you are transferring them to a destination that replies to 3CX with Session Progress 183 the options will remain greyed out. This kind of reply is usually heard when calling to a destination that may have a welcome message, or a provider message that plays before you are truly connected to the end destination. If you think this is the case, ask the users for details, and you can always run a capture on 3CX to confirm it.

Thanks for the response. it is possible they are clicking the new call by mistake, they are instructed to use alt transfer it is only happening to two users and I did not see progress 183 in the trace. its not the answering by recording as it is an internal device they are transferring to.
