When the queue recording is configured to provide the recording optin/optout are they any prompts or other indicators that indicate the caller opted in or out?

I have configured the call recording opt out option but was expecting there to be a prompt and confirmation, there doesn't seem to be any.

Regarding your question, you would need to record your own prompts, to tell the caller to choose whichever you decide to use.

How do I play a confirmation prompt after the caller selects an option?

It's something I would expect to happen automatically after an option is selected

There is none, I'm afraid, you record a prompt that will tell the caller to press 3 to opt-in or opt out of recording, while the prompt is playing and before the call polls the agents, but there are no confirmation prompt options.

Is there anyway to determine the option the caller chose?

There are 2 ways and the first is that there will be a recording of the call if they did not choose an option to opt-out of recording and the option is enabled to record calls for the extension.

Also, from the queue manager log which is found under the management console > Dashboard > activity Log > Logs > Instance1,
that when the system is in verbose logging mode, will show an entry for the time before the call starts polling,

OPTOUTREC = 0 Meaning the option to opt out of recording was not chosen.

OPTOUTREC = 1 Meaning the option to opt out of recording was chosen.
