We have had voip.ms service for years, just each phone was directly connected to their servers.
10 months ago we switched to 3cx and I have a trunk pointing to voip.ms (toronto1.voip.ms). This works fine for most part.
Once in a while, very randomly I get this error:
Registration at VoIP.MS has failed.
Destination (sip:158.85.70.148:5060;lr) is not reachable, DNS error resolving FQDN, or service is not available.
Then I get them at least 3 times in 2 minute intervals. It shows up red in the my3cx portal.
While this happens we can't receive calls or make outgoing calls, but I have a SIP client here connected to a # on voip.ms, which works fine!
While I was getting these emails I have been troubleshooting with voip.ms and they indicated no service disruptions at all.
The last 2 weeks it happened almost daily, before that maybe once a week.
What can I do to troubleshoot this? It seems to me that 3cx have problems with their DNS servers.
