Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is well tonight. The reason for this question is because we recently got rid of our I.T partner, but we are interested in keeping the 3cx system for our company. I'll be honest. My knowledge is basic on how it works between the distributor and the 3cx system. Would we have to find another partner to continue using the 3cx or how does that work? I'd appreciate your help.

Also, can any company become a partner with 3cx?

This is good news. Would you be able to take over for the previous I.T company? We already have a 3cx system installed for our business, and we want to keep it.

If the 3cx is on-premise then It isn't mandatory to have a 3cx partner to continue using 3CX,but if it is hosted by the partner then you will need them.
We have 3cx on-premise and have had a 3cx partner for ages, but the thing is we never contacted them other than the license renewal. Any issue we have had with 3cx, had been taken care by us. Because of these reasons we have let go of our 3cx partner.

I believe the partners will give you support in case of issues, so if you think you will need support, I think you should get a 3cx partner, else you don't need them. Even the license/maintenance can be bought on your own.
