Real time audio stream?

Hi There,

I've been scouring the available documentation but I could not find a way to programmatically listen in on a call (real time streaming audio). I'm probably not looking in the right place. We want to integrate with our AI platform so that we can transcribe the conversation in real time and offer in-call hints.
Any hints would be hugely appreciated.

Hi @spoton-ai-dev,

I'm afraid that it's not possible to 'listen' in to the audio stream natively in 3CX for this purpose. There are 3CX Partners and 3rd Party software providers on this forum who may be able to assist you. @jed @VoIPTools maybe something you could assist with?

At one time 3CX provided the ability to stream in audio. But the decision was made that this feature required too many resources to transcode the audio in real-time and removed the feature. This is not possible to do anymore.
