Hi,

We have just setup our first v9 server and are testing the rebound feature.

I have it setup as follows

Internal extension 5002 setup to forward unanswered calls after 2 seconds to an external mobile number.

Ext 5002 also has call screening enabled.

If I call the internal extension of 5002 or it's DDI, It rings briefly before I get asked to record my name and press any key, I then get told the PBX is trying to locate 5002 - as I would expect.

The mobile that's configured to receive the forwarded calls from 5002 rings but the message from the PBX is just the callers phone number ID, and not the name greeting that was recorded?

How do we get this feature working?

Also, if the user 5002 has a personal identification message recorded does the the voice prompt the caller hears, change from saying, please wait whilst we try to locate "5002", to play the users personal identification message instead?

Thanks

Paul

Hi, Please update your system prompts and try again.
If problem persists - restart your web server and try again.
Thanks and Regards

System prompts were out of date - now updated.

Entire server restarted and the issue remains.

Thanks

Paul

Hi, are you using the Standard English prompt?

Go to IVR/Prompts/Sets/ResponseOrdering.vxml
It should be like this -

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<IVROrderSet culture="jp">

<response name="QUEINTRO" order="YOUR_AT_POSITION+$Num$+QUEUE_TOBE_CONNECTED" />
<response name="VMDATETIME" order="TIME_IS+$Date$+EMPTY+$Time$" />
<response name="VMCALLER" order="MSG_FROM+$PhoneNum$" />
<response name="VMMSGDEL" order="$Num$+$Messages$+DELETED" />
<response name="VMRECINTRO" order="RECYA+$Prompt$+THENPRESPND+BEEP" />
<response name="EXTNUMBER" order="PLSENTER+EXTNUM" />
<response name="ENTERPIN" order="PLSENTER+PIN+THENPRESPND" />
<response name="ENTERNEWPIN" order="PLSENTER+NEW_PIN_CODE+THENPRESPND" />
<response name="YOURNEWPIN" order="YOUR+NEW_PIN_CODE+IS+$PIN$" />
<response name="PINCONFIRM" order="TO_SAVE+CONFIRM" />
<response name="MENUENTRY" order="PRESSSTAR_TOPLAY+PRESSNINE_FOROPTIONS+TOEXIT_PRESSPOUND" />
<response name="DIALOUT" order="PLSENTER+NUMBER_ENT+THENPRESPND" />
<response name="NEWSELFID" order="TORECNEW+MSG_SELFID+MSGREC_MNU2" />
<response name="NEWGREETING" order="TORECNEW+MSG_GRT+MSGREC_MNU" />
<response name="ENTERUSERNAME" order="PLSENTER+USER_NAME" />
<response name="BOOMGREET" order="PLSWAITLOCATE+$PhoneNum$" />
<response name="BOOMACCEPTGREET"
order="UHVCALL+$VMAILAUDIO$+$PhoneNum$+EMPTY+PRESS1TOTAKECALL+EMPTY+PRESSSENDTOVMAIL" />
<response name="BOOMNOTLOCATED" order="USERUNAVAIL+REDIRVMAIL" />
<response name="PROFSTATUSOPT" order="STATUS_MENU" />

</IVROrderSet>

Thanks

HI We made some changes to the prompts.

Download the system prompt you are using one final time and try this again - we found an issue in other languages.

Can you let us know which system voice prompt language you are using?

If a fresh download does not fix the problem, restart the webserver or restart the machine quickly and your problem should be resolved + the call screening prompt will be played.

Thanks

I would like this as well.

In looking at ResponseOrdering.vxml, it appears that this line controls this:
<response name="BOOMGREET" order="PLSWAITLOCATE+$PhoneNum$" />

What variable can I replace $PhoneNum$ with that would play the recorded self identification message instead?
