I would recommend trying out X-Lite.

Because it's free and comfortable. Not too large (take 5-7mb space in memory). Easy to access it from systray and so on.

I have tried several offerings and completely agree that X-Lite is a very good product. I even went with the full version for myself.

My eyebeam has 6 lines instead of 2. Its the same look but some extra features comparing to the eyebeam.

Another thing I noticed is that with xlite I am allowed to have 1 account, but with eyebeam (paid version of xlite) I have up to 10 accounts so I can register to a voip provider directly, and to the pbx and to another pbx at the same time if I want to.

Also If I am not mistaken transfers don't work on my free edition but on the paid they do.

I am sure there must be some comparison chart on their website.

I want to say that you recommend Windows version of Express Talk. Isn't it?

If you'll try to install this Express Talk (PDA version) on Pocket PC you'll don't recommend it . Try to see how it seems on Eten X500 Plus (640x480 screen resolution). It's terrible.

Yes. Windows version of Express Talk should be acceptable. But PDA version very bad. Too many feed back and almost no echo cancellation .......

X-Lite (X-Lite3_29712.exe) doesn't support the Transfer Call feature.

You can upgrade it to the eyeBeam 1.5. It costs some money.

You must use a headset with a regular PocketPC device. In duplex mode embedded microphone and embedded speakerphone create positive audio feedback and audio conversation becomes impossible.

Moreover Windows Mobile smartphones free of the positive audio feedback.

I tried SJPhone (PPC 2003se) on Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone.
