Hi,

3cx.com has a page listing recommended hardware here:

https://www.3cx.com/phone-system/pbx-appliance/

I have read through each of the four links:

Intel NUC
Shuttle XPC Nano
Gigabyte BRIX
Zotac Zbox

Unless I missed something, the only device that seems to be explicitly recommended for 3CX Licenses of up to 16 concurrent calls (but not more), and that run using the Debian ISO hosted on 3cx.com, is the Intel NUC (NUC5PPYH)

Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to source this device locally.

The link to Shuttle XPC Nano takes me to an external page, but there is nothing explicit about which model(s) might support a 3cx 16 concurrent call license / setup. Does that mean that every device on that page will always work with the 3CX Debian ISO? This seems like a dangerous assumption, since that specific supplier (Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH) might add something to that page at any time, and 3cx.com will not have tested it?

Is anyone able to help me make a device selection for this size of install (33 users in total, but we anticipate about 10 concurrent calls would be upper end most of the time - 12 would be exceptional)?

If it helps, this is our primary supplier, so something from here would be ideal:

http://www.dove.co.nz/products/desktops-notebooks-and-servers/barebone-pc

Even better (or as well), would be knowing how to determine this for myself.

Thanks,

Alan.

{Bump} - Hope that's okay!

Hello @Alan9846

The guide refers to a number of mini PC's tested by 3CX as reference, as there are thousands of models out there and it is not possible to test everything. The 3CX PBX sits on top of the operating system so if the mini PC supports the operating system you will be using for 3CX then 3CX will run.
Just make sure your PC meets the minimum spec requirements referenced in the guide.
