i've been through the steps described in this thread:

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/recording-access.68605/#post-299552

i have call recording enabled on all members of a group

i can see recordings present on the server when logged in as administrator

i have added "can see group recordings" to the manager rights for that group

i have "manager" role assigned to an extension with this group membership

i have "allow access to 3cx management console" and "generate call reports" with "allow downloads of call recordings" checked for this extension also

I log into fqn:5001/webclient

but there is no "recordings" tab in the menu on the left

Same here. I have a client that has one user mentioning they have audio delay issues on their extension, so we have been recording the external calls (non issue internally). Was working on the office management to listen to their calls and report back with a specific time and date on a specific call to allow us to analyze the call quality.

Cannot see the Recordings available on the Webclient webpage, on either the client's on premise PBX, nor can I get this to work on our company's setup on an Azure PBXExpress ( both are running Linux ver. 16.0.3.676; Professional for the client, Enterprise for us)

Tried various combinations of setting based on the linked article above, webrowser (Chrome & Firefox) and only administrative logins to the Dashboard allows viewing and downloading Recordings. Still no luck.

Try enabling 'Show Call Recordings' under the provisioning of the 3CX app.

Under Phones - Edit an Extension , Click on Phone Provisioning and select 3CX App.

AH! yes you are right. THANK YOU!

open an extension and then in the phone provisioning tab change the drop menu from their phone to the app and find 'show call recordings'

log into fqdn~:5001/webclient to view them

Thanks for the quick response earlier. I too now have it working as it should! I have been testing on the selections for the 3CX app, Options and Rights. I can now let my client know that they can logon and listen to their recordings.

Reminds again that in phone systems, one must go to several locations to turn on a feature or edit a field to make it work correctly. I now see the logic for the 3CX app applies to the web browser.
