Red or Green Light on BLF depending on presence status

Hi,
Can we change the BLF color depending the presence status currently used ?

If the user if available, so the available button should be red, because that status is in use.
If the status is called lunch or away or wathever, the BLF should be red to indicate which status is ON.

Lot of users don't know their status when they are at their desk.

No - BLF shows available or on the phone when using 3CX templates.

I believe this is probably already submitted in the ideas forum so I would find it there and upvote it.

If theyre at their desk and dont have a phone to their head, they're not on the phone.

Users can use webclient or desktop client to see presence.

No, you can't do this. It isn't supported in the standard templates and, when I've tried to implement it using custom templates, I couldn't get it working (On supported Yealink phones).

The idea has been requested several times and up-voted by a lot of people but has not been accepted for inclusion/addition by 3CX yet. Don't expect to see the feature anytime soon.

Correct, this is the biggest complaint when we went live.

Now most users leave the webpage up to see presence.

For some people, going to the web page to see the current status is something too tiring
And i don't even think those people for whom the app is a source of anxiety LOL

Hi,

The BLF monitors call state, not status so unfortunately this is not doable.

Please use the webclient for monitoring statuses.
