Redirect Internal Calls To Conference Number

Hey everyone

Just wondering if its possible to create (and if anyone has had any success in creating) a rule to redirect calls placed to the external conference number, to the internal extension when dialled from an internal user.

Example

Extension 1234 dials 01234 567890 -> redirects to -> 8000

You could try the following, create a dummy extension and set the number as its SIP ID. Then set the extension to Away and under the Away forwarding rules have internal calls route to the conference extension. Try calling the number internally and see if you get to the conference extension.

There is also the Loop trunk option, but it uses two call licences per call and would probably only be a last resort.
