Registering trial version

Hello

We have installed 3cxPhoneSystem free version in our lab. We would like to evaluate its programming api in order to integrate with a LOB app.

We need to activate the trial version capabilities, so we got a serial number from 3cx.

When activating, 3cxPhoneSystem tries to connect to 3cx. Unfortunately, according to our security policies, lab is isolated from Internet, so we can't activate it because it seems to require direct access.

Is there any way to perform activation without internet access? Could it be configured to use a http proxy?

Unfortunately, you may be out of luck. There is no current way to perform an "offline" activation and no way (i know of at least) to configure a web proxy.

Aren't you connected to the internet right now? You are posting on the forum right now aren't you?
How is it a problem for you to activate?

Install it in a laptop. Take the laptop home where you have an internet connection. Register the Demo key. Back up 3CX onto a USB stick. Take the stick to work and restore the backup to the machine there. Uninstall 3CX from the laptop.
