Remote extension do not ring

My system have all remote extensions set but one of them, even if it is the only only extension of that ring group, does not ring for incoming calls.

The extension was configured with the provisioning file and other extensions in group, set to ring simultaneous, rings ok.

Any idea what can be going on?

Unfortunately, there is not enough detail to determine why the issue as your post only shows that there is an issue. Typically, this is associated to a NAT issue, but we have no idea:
1. Is the extension registered?
2. Are you using STUN?
3. Have you run the firewall checker and did it pass?

If it rings, then the SIP message seems to be getting to the phone, but I assume issues with the audio (RTP).

If the other phones are all working correctly and of the same make/model and all provisioned the same from 3CX using the remote settings, then you may need to examine what is different at the remote site with the issue.

Could it be a Codec issue?

Does the set ring when called directly? Can it place outgoing calls?

Are there other remote sets at the same location? ...do they work?

After reading your other posts, other forum category, I'm wondering if it might be a port issue (same local port being used on multiple extensions behind the same remote router)

I am using 3cxphone for windows that was provisioned by the file provided in the welcome email.

I have 3 extensions configured the same way in the same ringgroup, 101, that is set as ringall: ext 100 (operator), 111 and 555

The inbound rule for the trunk i use says to ring group 101 on incoming calls for 120 secs.

All the extensions can intercom make and receive calls and make outside calls trough the same trunk.

the point is that only 555 rings on incoming external call... when logged in ext 100 it gives busy signal to caller and when using ext. 111 it rings for the caller but doesnt ring ext. 111. (all over the same network that 555 works fine) even they all shown as registered at server extensions status.

By now my system is 1 sip trunk w/ 2 simultaneous call and 1 need many extensions.

Are these all "remote" extensions?

If so, are they located behind the same router?

Yes all of them are remote extensions, i have made test over the same network WiFi / cable. Since i usually use extension 555 in my Android phone. I have made test w/ the Android phone and windows 3cx phone over the same network, trough WiFi and cable.

If all of the sets are behind the same (remote) router (you didn't answer that question), and, you are NOT using the 3CX SBC, then you must provision each set with a unique local port number. In other words, they can't all be using port 5060. Doing that would just cause the router be become confused as to where to send the incoming SIP messages.

Even if you do this, if you have too many sets behind one remote router, without using the SBC, you can still run into problems, depending on what router you are using.

I have 2 extensions + operator, i have made many tests including using it on different networks and only extensions 555 keeps ringing.

Is there any limitations on that on the free trial version?

I dont know what else to do.

If using V14, then there are no feature limitations; only the number of calls is limited to 2. Keep in mind that a call is defined as internal to internal, external to internal and internal to external. A call to a ring group is one call, despite ringing multiple phones.

Do we understand correctly that from any one phone, that phone can both make and receive calls from any other extension and can also do the same with calls coming in from and going out of the SIP trunk?

If you are using 3CX V12 or V12.5, then I do believe that there are some limitations as to the feature sets, but I honestly do not recall them all. However, you may be able to go to the system extension status page and then look for any items in red as this will indicate what functionality is not running. You should be able to see the ring group extension and if green, then that function should be OK.

A post of the logs may help, but if you are still getting the errors as posted in your initial log, then you still have an issue and never answered any of the questions related to the firewall checker, posting a more complete log, etc. The answers may further help isolate and correct the issue. I suspect that if your Android phone is working, then it is not facing the same NAT issues that the others extensions are.

I am using v14.

About the 1st question about the phones, I have 2 external extensions running 3cx phone for windows and android. The afirmation about making,/ receiving and ringing for any sort of calls if correct but the problem is the extension 123 does not ring on incoming external calls. Making and receiving from extension 555 if ok, rings ok and making calls by siptrunk is also ok for both but ringing on siptrunk calls only ext. 555 rings.

I have tried to switch accounts between phones and 555 keeps ringing and 123 does not ring on incoming siptrunk calls even if they are on the same ring group configured to ring all and the main ring route for the trunk in use.

I have attached the log the says: No transport is found for destination: <sip:[email protected]:16990> even this phone having a direct internet connection. and a public ip.

All connections passed all firewall tests by 3cx tool.

The point is extension 555 rings on computer and android and extension 123 does not ring on both where extension 555 rings normally.

There appears to be all sort of issues going on in the logs you posted. This is one of them...

Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings
26-out-2015 11:26:15.498 Endpoint Extn:123: the request from external source 177.99.126.244:57793is blocked. Reason: the extension is configured to block external registrations.

This indicates that the extension options in 3CX, for this extension, are set to prevent any external registrations

This issue was already solved, I have allowed external access to this extension, is ON Hook as 555.

Does everytime i changed a ring group and update extensions i have to restart services?

Because I just noticed that doesnt me=atter the ring configuration it always ring extension 555 even if the inbound rules says to ring only other extension.

What does exactly 2 simultaneous calls means? The incoming siptrunk call is 1 and the extension ringing is the second? Or the incoming siptrunk call is 1 and as long as no extension answers it can ring 100 simultaneous extension s?

Just solved the issue setting a diferentes DID number. Now everything works just great.
