Removed option to sort Surname/Firstname - Why?

We recently had an update to our Windows 3CX Client that, among other things, seems to have removed the option to be able to sort "Team" view by Surname,Firstname - rather than Firstname,Surname.
There used to be a dropdown in the Menu > Settings > View tab, that let you choose your preference - why would this be removed? Surely it would have taken actual programming time to remove as a feature...

Is there a way to remedy this, on a per-user basis, either through the Windows App itself or the Web Admin site?

It now follows the settings of Console > Advanced > Contacts > Options.

Thanks for your response, the problem is that looks like that option applies for ALL users (and to the Contacts, rather than just the Team view on the client app).
Most people prefer ordered by Firstname,Surname, and it used to be that "difficult" users, who liked to have the internal extension view ordered by Surname,Firstname could apply this themselves within the app.
Removing this option does nothing except to make it harder for users to customise their experience / view.

Agreed but it's been a while since it was removed. They added "sort by extension number" for people who want that instead.

Some customization settings like this have been disappearing from the Webclient and console for a while now, not sure what's the goal.
