Based on FAQ, 8SC and 4SC Standard licenses are free, which means no renewal is required.
Just to confirm there is also no annual maintenance renewal required and FQDN under 3cx will be maintained?

Basically yes. Renewal is required in the form of confirming contact information but is free today.

If you have a legacy perpetual standard license you have to trade it in for the free license.

You can renew maintenance on it still as long as it's either current or in the grace period.
