Reports URL security

Hi there,

is there any plan to setup some level of secuity access of reports generated by 3CX.

as it stands reports generated by 3CX provide a URL to either a HTML report or CSV file without the need to authenticate or anything... the reports then list users personal identifiable data and if the link is then forwarded around can end up in the wrong persons hands.

i would expect some sort of authentication to get to this information such as login in to the management console.

Hi @CFP,

This is something that we're aware of and are looking into. At present you can set the rights per extension to only allow trusted personal to generate reports, which while not a password protected solution, should provide a layer of security by trusted resources.

Thanks Vasilis, this is already implemented and whitelisted IP access to the management console.

do you have an ETA on when the added security to the reports and their info will be expected?

I don't have an ETA on this at the moment. What I can suggest is contacting a 3CX Partner to escalate this as an Idea in the Ideas Forum as I've not found a post regarding this yet.
