Resolving *.3CX.US address on internal network

What's the best practice to resolve my 3CX fqdn (xxx.3CX.US) on my internal network? Should I create an 3CX.US zone in my DNS or allow requests to leave my internal network and access via the public IP address?

You need to setup Split DNS on your internal network so xxx.3CX.US points to your 3CX internal IP address - https://www.3cx.com/docs/creating-fqdn-split-dns/
