Hi,

A customer have a SIP Trunk with unlimited simultaneous incoming/outgoing calls.
He has a 3CX 8SC license.

He want to restrict incoming calls to a max. of 2 simultaneous calls, but no restrictions on outgoing calls.

In "SIP Trunk Settings > Simultaneous Calls" you can manage the max. sim. calls, but this is for all calls for that Trunk, inbound and outbound together.
He want to separate incoming and outgoing calls over the same Trunk.

Is this possible in 3CX and can you point me into the right direction to accomplish this?

Hi,

Sorry this feature is not possible via a single sip trunk. You will need to split this into two trunks.

Hi David,

Thank you for your reply.

Many providers allow you to have as many registrations as you want (assuming username / password registration vs ip authentication)

Setup two username / password accounts to the same sip trunk provider account.

Setup 2 separate voip provider account.

Set the max limit of sim calls on the 1st voip provider account.

Assign your did's against it.

Then use the other for outbound calls.
