Hello,

In our setup it is mandatory for each user to be in a group named after the user's department. This is used for many reasons including the Calls Logs export per group.
The problem is sometimes we add a user and forget to add in the department's group, or by mistake the user is added to two different groups resulting in his call usage to show in two groups in the report.

Is there any way we can check in bulk the group membership? For example to export all users with the group membership info so we can review if the user is in multiple groups or if no group is assigned?

Thanks!

Hi @Ayman,

In v18, click the Users tab in the Management Console then Groups. Review Groups and their extensions there.

I am aware of this, this is the default view of groups.
But from there you cannot know if you have any user not listed in one of the groups, or you cannot know if there is a user listed in multiple groups unless you do that manually group after the other.
We have ~300 user and 40 groups, it is impossible to do this manually.

Hi @Ayman,

I'm afraid that there are no reports that you can run that include this information that is native to 3CX. Nor will exporting the extensions help, as they don't include this data. This leaves you with the Groups method mentioned above.

Another thing you may want to use to assist you, is using the user search bar, you can type in the name of the group there and it'll bring up only the extensions that are in the group. It may be useful in this endeavor of yours.
