Hello,

I need to be able to rewrite my outbound rules, the same way we could do this on Asterisk.

For example, I want to be able to add country code, if the number is shorter than certain number of digits.

Or, I want to be able to strip 00s and +s all within my outbound rule, does it mean I have to create one outbound rule for each?

The number dialing formatting/rewrite of asterisk/Elastix was amazing, where I find the 3CX outbound rules very immature. The only number rewriting I found was for outbound/inbound DIDs of a trunk, which is not what I am after.

Hi mydigia,

I need to be able to rewrite my outbound rules, the same way we could do this on Asterisk

Note, the Elastix/Asterisk you can create an outbound rule with several sub rules (+ Add More Dial Pattern Fields)
On 3CX Phone System you can separate this rules one by one. The only different that Elastix/Asterisk can do it is the CID that can feat on the outbound rule or on the specific Trunk. On 3CX phone system this can be achieved on the outbound rule.

For example, I want to be able to add country code, if the number is shorter than certain number of digits.

This can be achieve through option "Calls to Numbers with a length of" , this referred to this link https://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/outbound-rules-a-complete-example/.
